鮮やかな色彩と精緻な絵柄が特徴です。特に五彩（赤・青・黄・紫・緑）の技法が有名で、日常使いから美術品まで幅広く愛されています。

Kutani ware is known for its vibrant colors and intricate designs. The technique of using five colors red, blue, yellow, purple, and green is particularly famous, making it beloved for both everyday use and as fine art.

九谷セラミック・ラボラトリー,Cerabo Kutani

九谷焼の製土工場・ショップ・体験工房を兼ね備えた九谷焼の体験型施設です。九谷焼づくりに欠かせない磁器土を製造する工場が施設内で稼働しており、陶石の粉砕から陶土が完成するまで、質の高い磁器土を製造する工程を間近で見学できます。

ギャラリースペースでは、九谷焼の製造工程を学ぶことができる常設展示や、作品の展示・販売を行っています。

また、体験工房では、ろくろ体験や絵付け体験など様々な体験メニューを用意しています。

A hands-on Kutaniyaki facility that combines a clay production factory, a shop and a hands-on experience workshop. The facility houses a working factory that produces the porcelain clay essential in Kutaniyaki productions operates at the facility, allowing visitors to observe the entire process up close - from stone pulverization to the completion of high-quality clay. In the Gallery Space, there are permanent exhibitions showcasing the Kutaniyaki production process, along with displays and sales of finished works. Additionally, there are a variety of options for hands-on workshops such as “rokuro” (a Japanese potter’s wheel) and painting.
