250年以上の歴史と日本一の技術力によって生み出される木彫刻です。200本以上のノミを使用して仕上げる精緻な彫りとその美しさが、高く評価されています。
Inami wood carvings are created with Japan’s most sophisticated carving techniques, drawing on more than 250 years of tradition. Carvers use over 200 different chisels to sculpt works prized for their beauty and intricacy.

太子堂の手挟彫刻
Eave Decorations(Taishido Hall)
井波別院瑞泉寺の太子堂の手挟に施された彫刻。一本の木材を籠彫りと呼ばれる技法を用いて彫り上げるもので、井波彫刻が持つ高い技術の真骨頂とも言われています。
The decorations, located at Zuisenji Temple’s Taishido Hall, are the pinnacle of Inami carving: single pieces of wood carved using the advanced “kago-bori” technique.
木彫刻体験（ぐい飲み作りと地酒の試飲）
Wood Carving Experience (Cup Making and Sake Tasting)
彫刻師が使用する道具と同じものを使用して、自分だけのオリジナルぐい飲みを制作します。また、制作したぐい飲みを使用して、地酒の試飲をすることができます。
Use authentic carver’s tools to create your own “guinomi” sake cup. Then, enjoy a tasting of local sake using the cup you created.
