Location and Transportation

The Chubu Area is located in the central part of Japan, allowing for easy access to and from all parts of the country. Moreover, it is positioned in between the Kanto (Tokyo) and Kinki (Osaka) regions, both of which are easily accessible through the use of a high-speed transportation system. This will enable businesses to include both of these top regions into their scope for business development.

Daily and weekly international flights are available from the airports of Nagoya (Aichi Pref.), Toyama (Toyama Pref.) and Komatsu (Ishikawa Pref.) to many countries around the world. The number of flights is increasing every year, making the area more accessible to the global scene.

Chubu International Airport, the third largest airport after Narita and Kansai airports, is scheduled for completion in 2005. The new airport will bring more people, goods and information directly to this area from major cities around the world.
